Cafe 326 is one of your only choices in Williams to pick up an espresso drink. While there are a few general cafes that serve house coffee, Cafe 326 is the place to go if you are seeking a specialty drink. Although it is a bit hectic and crowded inside and the service could use major improvement, it is worth a stop if you find yourself needing a coffee break after exploring all the cute little Route 66 shops lining William's historic downtown neighborhood.

Food

The menu at Cafe 326 includes specialty coffee drinks, pastries, and breakfast items. In my opinion, they should choose to be solely a restaurant or a coffee shop. The employees were stressed out and attempting to prepare food and make coffee drinks in a very small space, all at the same time.

Coffee shops that just stick to coffee, and perhaps a few small pastries, always do better than those attempting to serve food as well. The wait was honestly way too long just to receive 2 basic drinks.

While the Americano was quite good, the mocha was really not made correctly. Baristas could use further training on how to properly use espresso equipment. If you are hungry, there are a few breakfast selections to choose amongst including sandwiches, granola, and bagels.

Service

As mentioned above, the employees were very stressed out, and thus, not very friendly or personable. The small town vibe that you are looking for in a cute little town like Williams was definitely absent.

Atmosphere

Both indoor and outdoor seating is available at Cafe 326. The inside has some nice Route 66 memorabilia, unfortunately it's a bit too noisy and cluttered to enjoy a peaceful coffee drinking experience as it is set up more like a cafe. I was a bit let down as I was expecting more of a friendly, cozy, charming small town vibe.

However, outside you will find a nice little shaded patio which offers a more ideal
setting for a relaxing coffee break. Despite only being able to use it for half the year due to the cold spring and winter season, It's a peaceful oasis in a small town that is always busy due to popular attractions like The grand Canyon Railway and the seasonal Polar
Express train ride.

Final Remarks

Cafe 326 is far from the best coffee shop I have visited in Arizona. However, for a small town like Williams (population just 3000), you are lucky to find any espresso shop. If you are craving a caffeinated beverage and have a bit of extra time to spare, then Cafe 326 is worth a try.
