The Village Grind is one of just a handful of independent coffee shops in the Sedona area. The Village is one of the best options for those looking for a laid-back coffeehouse experience. The relaxed non-touristy setting in the Village of Oak Creek, the delicious coffee drinks, and the cozy ambiance make it well worth the drive over. Plus, you will get to take a cruise along the picturesque Red Rock Scenic Byway!

Food

The Village Grind is a nice place to grab a pastry and a delicious espresso drink before hitting the trails. The Village partners with Espresso Italia and Da' Nede' Farms. Most of their ingredients are organic and they work with local farmers markets.

Regular drip coffee is just over 2 bucks with $1 refills available all day! The coffee is pretty tasty without any burnt aftertaste. We also enjoyed the Americano and White Mocha. You will find all the usual hot drinks, along with pour over. Lemonade, ice tea, and Italian sodas are available for non coffee drinkers. If you are in the mood for a cool treat, try a scoop of gelato!

Lunch includes a small selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads, bruschetta, and small plates. Craft beer and local wine are available.

Service

The employees are upbeat and seem to enjoy working here, which in turn creates a nicer atmosphere for the guests.

Atmosphere

The setting at The Village Grind is simplistic, yet cozy with a comfy couch and relaxing chairs, in addition to a few tables. It is not overly cramped and the music is not so loud that you cannot hold a conversation or work on your laptop. The large windows offer a decent view of the red rocks. Or you can lounge on the outdoor patio and enjoy both the picturesque views & Sedona's mild weather.
