Baymont in Bowling Green was the perfect choice for my boyfriend and I who were staying in town for the night. A complimentary breakfast is included and there is also a Denny's attached right to the hotel for your convenience.

Appearance

The hotel does not look too bad from the outside, nicer than many of the other hotels which we passed in town. Behind the hotel there is a nice grassy area with benches, a fire pit, and horseshoes - perfect for relaxing or taking your pet out for a quick walk.

Amenities

A free breakfast is offered each morning. Breakfast consists of coffee, tea, milk, orange juice, muffins, sweet rolls, bagels, yogurts, cereals, and toast. It wasn't the best breakfast ever but adequate to get us through until lunch. I liked the fact that it was held in the nice pool area.

The indoor pool area is really nice. There is a large hot tub, pool, and a few arcade machines. The covered atrium was nice as it allowed a lot of sunshine to come through while enjoying the pool.

There is also an outdoor pool and basketball although it was to cold so we just stuck to the indoor pool. I used the fitness center and all the equipment worked well. The elliptical machine was nice to have.

Free WiFi is available. Pets are allowed for a $10 a night fee, which isn't too bad compared to the prices which many of the other hotels in the area which we called were charging.

The hotel is conveniently attached to a Denny's. This is a nice feature as Denny's is open 24 hours so if you are hungry you can just walk over as opposed to driving your car around town trying to find something.

Promotional Offer

Price

We paid around $70 for the night, which I felt was a bit high for the area. Also, I think we were the only ones who had booked a room - we didn't see anyone else in the hotel and the parking lot was completely empty. So, a bit overcharged in my opinion. However, the pool area was nice.

Room

We reserved a King bed room which was plenty big enough. There was a coffee machine, microwave, and fridge which all came in handy for our stay. There is also a flat screen TV and a desk if you need to work on your laptop.

Final Remarks

Baymont Bowling Green is a good place to stay in town for the night. We checked many of the other hotels in town - many didn't allow pets or were charging much more so in our case this hotel worked. A nice pool area and a continental breakfast made our stay more enjoyable.
