Boston's The Gourmet Pizza is a Canadian based chain which has locations across the U.S. The Long Beach Boston's is especially attractive due to the prime location on the waterfront.
We ordered the Nachos, crispy green beans, and the spinach artichoke dip. All 3 were great especially the nachos. The nachos are the best part of any Boston's visit. A twist on the traditional nacho, they were made out of a more hearty thick tortilla with melted cheddar and mozzarella, black beans, tomatoes, black olives, and jalapeno peppers. Amazing when dipped in sour cream and salsa.
This particular location had fantastic happy hour deals ($5 appetizers and various drink specials). Overall, it's just a great place to grab a few drinks and a few fun appetizers.
The waiter was below average. He was really slow and forgot to bring out the beer. I asked him again and it still took 15 minutes. Maybe the service is slower outside than inside. However, it was great weather and nice views, so I wasn't complaining.
The outdoor seating area was great. Nice views of palm trees and the ocean. They also host Texas hold ‘Em poker by the bar once a week: a fun way to enjoy some free local entertainment.
I love the all-day Happy Hours offered at this Boston's restaurant and it's beautiful waterfront location. I will definitely be back!
