Food

The menu at Bikes, Beans, and Bordeaux focuses on healthy choices to help you fuel up or recover before or after any fitness event. Many of the menu items have catchy cycling inspired names.

On the all-day breakfast menu, you'll find options such as Quiche, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, wraps, and waffles. Lunch/dinner includes a variety of sandwiches, soups, salads, paninis, and more.

As you can see, the menu is pretty carb heavy, so if you want to treat yourself to some carbs after a long workout, it's a great place to do so.

Alternatively, if you are reducing your carb intake, you can opt for a lettuce wrap instead of the bread on any sandwich. There are many options loaded with meat, including several double decker options. Gluten-free bread is also available for an extra dollar.

The Tour Mediterranean sandwich was stacked with delicious hummus, tomato, lettuce, red onion, black olives, sprouts, cucumbers, feta, and dressing. It was delicious and hearty - just what I needed after a long morning of exercise. Although the sandwich is served on Italian bread, you can substitute a lettuce wrap or gluten-free bread. Sandwiches are served with carrot sticks, or chips and a pickle.

They also carry a fairy large selection of wines and beer, including local selections and gluten-free options. They even offer a free monthly beer tasting!

No matter what time of day you visit, whether for breakfast and a coffee, a pre workout smoothie, a post workout sandwich, or a late night snack and drinks, you will leave satisfied.

There are many gluten-free and vegetarian items on the menu including a delicious Black Bean soup, many salads and sandwiches, smoothies, and several snacks.

Also be sure to check the board or website for monthly specials which include a seasonal soup, a special salad and sandwich of the month, and a featured latte.

A full menu of espresso drinks, along with dairy and non-dairy smoothies is available too. And after 4pm, a variety of snack type foods like flatbreads, a hummus plate, nachos, and quesadillas are available.

Service

Service was fantastic - the staff was very helpful with suggesting dairy and gluten-free substitutes for the sandwiches.

Atmosphere

The atmosphere here is great for those into biking. You will find cycling themed decor along with various cycling races broadcast on the flat screen TV. The setting is cozy and relaxed with cozy leather couches and lots of plants. It's the perfect place to kick back and relax after a long workout!
